My first doll quilt!

This is the doll quilt I put together ages ago for Jurnee's Bitty Baby, and I finally got around to quilting it, and binding it. Went pretty well. The photo below is of the embroidery. This is a design I made up myself, I used 4" and 2" squares.
Now Jurnee would like a swim suit for Bitty Baby...Think I will going to the American Girl website for that one.

Now, some of you may not know that I have a "day" job on the computer/phone. The other day while I was working I turned around and Jurnee had made her own Iphone, her headset and laptop. She could design stuff like this all day...actually she does. She makes ballet bags, cameras, mail carriers, and all in white paper and pen ( whatever color is around.) I keep buying her different markers, pencils, colored paper etc... and she still uses the same thing. I am thrilled she enjoys creating!
This is the laptop.

Hi Dawn,
The quilt is very cute. Where do you get all your energy from? Maybe you could send some this way.
Tell Jurnee I love her iphone and laptop and we will see her on Saturday.

Jurnee is creative just like her mom. We are pretty lucky to have creative girls. I hope they will continue to be interested in creating because it is such great bonding time. I have some doll patterns I picked up at a rummage sale last summer that your post reminded me of. I would like to pull those out and give them a shot.
