VBS Crafts wrapped up

The Theme for today was "worship who He is" the 4yr-1st grade group made tambourines with paper plates and bells, and did a great job of it! The 2nd-7th grade students painted, stamped and sequined guitars. (Most students need to cut them out at home since they were quite wet with paint.) I think they enjoyed it and some of the guitars were so good. Now in 20 minutes, that's remarkable! VBS is wrapped up, and as of tomorrow, all summer activities will be over too.
Now to plan for a trip to an amusement park, a zoo and the County Fair (Oh yeah, big daddy and I will be attending Jazz fest in a few weeks too!) If you are having trouble commenting, please zip me an e-mail considerthesun@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Kids artwork are always amazing. I love the way they use colors! If only I can be just as brave when it comes to bright colors then I'd have more fun outside my comfort zone. I've seen amazing quilts with jewel tone colors! But that means more fabrics to acquire and I haven't got anymore space in my craft room. Oh just as well, I will just admire someone else's work.
Jazz festival?! Man I would love to go. I love jazz music like The Manhattan Transfer, Diana Krall, Billie Holiday and old classics. You lucky ducky!
