Great end to the week!

So, picture this...Friday night, girls in bed...their own beds! Finally got Sophia her own big girl bed, and if she can stay on the mattress, we'll get the rest of the set up. For now, she has a mattress on the floor, but sleeping on it...woo hoo!

Hubby sleeping, house in order, coffee in hand, favorite magazine on lap, and best of all the snow is melting outside! And I had a great visit with a friend this morning! It is going to be a great evening!

With the 30ish degree weather out there, I feel so much energy that I pack away in the winter. I have been deep cleaning and plan to do some deep re-decorating this spring too! I decided to begin with the new blog look. What do you think? I have been unhappy with my blog header from the start, and I think I can live with this one for awhile!

Thank you to those that commented on the tote! I will keep the tie, and I will be posting another one I have almost finished by the end of the weekend hopefully!

What do you think?

So, What do you think? This is one of the creations I have been working on for awhile, but I could just never get 20 solid minutes at one time to work on it...but today I did! I know the light is funky, still using Jurnee's camera, but anyway, I got the base idea from a Belle Armoire issue I bought awhile back. Anyway, I think this is definitely more of a tote and I would use it for knitting, the beach, the library or something like that. It is super heavy duty and has a men's necktie for the tie around the top.

Rusty does not like the necktie at all, what do you think? I have another one ready to sew, but before I finish it, I would love some feedback.

"A"--------Ahhhhhhhhhhh

Today, the first day of school for many in Wisconsin, brings back many memories. Smells mostly for me, oh yeah, the new school supplies, I still love to get a new pen, or begin a new notebook, and now new craft supplies and tools also give me the calm feeling-- Ahhhhh-- that the fresh new beginning of the new school year brings.

I have a few Ahhhhs today, I finished up some projects and feel Ahhhh that they are no longer looming in my craft room, (or dining room) or in my mind, as I begin my project for the OWL SWAP hosted by the ever talented Missy Balance at Crafty Carnival. Also Christmas projects in the works as well as a few gifts, and a number of other obligations.
