Hope you can find something you like, I will be adding lots over the next few months. I have/am busy. I have a great love for hand stitching and always seem to go back. My grandma taught me when I was about 5-6, and I will always keep this creative outlet in my life!

I've made a junk collector of him!!

Rusty and his friends found this old cooler base on some hunting land, Rusty brought the "rusty old thing" home, and primer, paint, a steady hand and a few hours later, the result is great! He plans to " set in" a cooler and cover the top with a chopping block for the cabin.
He is so creative, and able, I am proud of him for "junking" and doing something so creative with it!

Pillow finished!

I have several projects I have finished and am trying to get on Etsy, and you know I cannot get the photo file small enough to upload. What in the world? Does anyone have any tips here? I am hoping my friend Becky can help. She is a computer genius! Btw she has made some great bags this week, go check her blog out!

Red Friday at my house!

So, Red Friday it is~~~ the Christmas decorations are out! My sister is here helping me with the girls and I am planning to finish a few projects this weekend also! Also I will be working tonight and Saturday night so no rest for me...tis the season!

Thanksgiving was nice, and we came home full and Sophia was tired. Then Aunt Janell and uncle Peter got here and we went through my knitting supplies. I have mostly given up on knitting for the time being, and Janell has just begun. I think I gave her an almost full set of needles, and some pattern books too. If anyone has any fairly easy and great baby knitting patterns, we would gladly welcome them. She is thinking of something for the baby. Monday she has an ultrasound to check on the baby and see if she will have a boy or girl! Woo Hoo! We are very excited for this as you can imagine.

Missing my store...

For the first time in 5 years, I am truly missing my gift/floral/interior business. I just looked at the recent blog post on Georgia Peachez
and I am truly missing the merchandising of the Christmas stuff! There are so many great new products out there...I just want to get my hands on them all.

But as I am realizing with 2 small children, and a pretty full schedule, I wasn't even able to participate in the the Christmas decorating at church again this year. I think I was able to get a little bit out of my system when I could work in such a lovely environment, with nice women and nice materials, but no time for that now.

Still trying to get my Etsy store filled up...and I am getting a fair amount of stuff finished.

Oh yeah, the photo is part of one of my new pillows!

Mid - October and life goes on.

My first pennant banner...I am already working on the next one, it was a good diversion from my other obligations. And best of all, I think Jurnee is learning to spell "halloween"


This pillow is soon going to be listed on Etsy with a few other creations. Check on Friday, the day I will be adding listings, probably most weeks from here on out.

We had a great weekend at the pumpkin patch and just a bunch of family time, it was a good breather. Thank you to all who comment anonymously, I wish I could personally thank you for checking out my little blog! Hope you will come by again!

"C" is for CRAZY quilting again

Well, the photo says it all, I am doing a few crazy quilt pillows again. It is very relaxing to me, but I had a tough time threading the wool thread into the needle today. But otherwise I am enjoying this project. I did decide to put my sewing patterns on Etsy check them out here. I have many more to come so keep looking, also some more of my quilt and pillow projects too!

Feeling a little fallish

We are so incredibly busy around here, with I don't know what, I guess it is just the home with two small children.
So, this potholder is something I came up with awhile back, and while cleaning & reorganizing my craft room, I found this unfinished little number, and decided to finish it, I am pleased with it, and plan to make more for my Etsy shop.
Speaking of the Etsy shop, I created the shop last year in September I think, and had lots to sell, before I got it all in the shop, I sold it. So I will be more prepared this time around, and I have a few other things coming along. I will report when new items are listed, probably in a couple of weeks.

Update on Rusty's dad, he is getting by, still in the hospital, so far the surgeries he had last week have been successful, he gets rods in his back on Friday.
