Now I have a blank slate!

I love the colors we chose, and I Have an empty slate upstairs and downstairs.
Off today to see what I can find.
I am thinking of making some kind of bunting for the playroom.

I borrowed this photo!

Have you visited The Inspired Room? I visit this blog nearly every day. Melissa has just the best decorating sense. She gets her photos from all over, the one above from Country Living online. But it just makes me want to get decorating again. There I said it, do you believe it? I have quit my organ sales job, and I am just at Lands' End now, but after the holidays, maybe I will try to dig in again. Also, for some reason, if you are commenting, I am not receiving the comments in my e-mail so I am so terribly sorry I have not responded. I have to figure that out. Any hints?

Progress report

Notice...or maybe you don't, but the big craft counter is pretty clean, I added a "paper craft" shelf and notice a few more blocks on the quilt?
I have also made much better use of the space, and moved the tables and the dreaded, "fold fabric job." (Couldn't get the girls out of the photo, but this is usually how I work, both of them right there.)
Home decorating project never ending, but I found this picture and I like it, problem is, kitchen, livingroom, bedroom, bathroom or foyer? I am pretty needy aren't I?
Progress on the "cabin" too. I was directed gently by one of Rusty's friends to quit calling it the "shack" as it was before, but now a "cabin." When we left, Jurnee had some pretty great ideas about how we should move there. NOT A CHANCE!!!

I guess they almost finished siding it on Saturday, so I'm sure it looks much different now. I will have to update again after the weekend.

I have many irons in the fire, Natalie's wedding flowers, VBS crafts, craft room, 3 gifts in the making, Cupcake Swap, cabin, and 3 parties on the weekend. Wow, I better get to sleep!

A little Mac fun

Jess was over on Sunday and Jurnee had a great time with her computer... Jurnee asked if she could get a laptop of her own. Rusty just smiled and shook his head.

We had a great time with Jess none-the-less. Still have a slight ping when I move my head, must be more to the headache I've had the past few days.

Being an ex-Interior Designer, I feel I am always drawn to good decorating blogs. Have you checked out Kari & Kjisa or The Inspired Room they are worth the time, especially now when we are all looking for some fresh decorating for the upcoming season.
