USA blessing

I have been trying to get this pic to post for days now, finally no issues!
In the event of Memorial Day I do remember those who served in our country. But more than that, I am proud of my my country even though it has been bashed a lot since 9-11. I will tell you why, I love the freedoms our country offers. (Though these seem to be slowly fading away by way of political correctness.) I am so happy that I can openly tell someone I am a Christian and not be put in jail. Or that I can send my children to school, did you know the number one thing that children in Afghanistan wish for is a pen?
Seriously we take our daily lives for granted so. Anyway, I could (and would) go on and on, but I think you may know my strong feeling about some of these issues.
God Bless America!

Being married to a naturalized American, I am often reminded of how fortunate we are to be American. I think I should add that to mine, too.

Love your square!.. Yes, my Dear Daughter LOVED school; but unfortunately Dear Son does not appreciate it nearly so much. I understand his feelings about it, but I TRY to teach him to embrace this time he has to learn.. and like you say, how so many kids WISH they could go to school, and to so much as have just a PEN! Financially, the times are frustrating right now, but still we are very fortunate to be citizens of this great country! ~tina
