My Education! I graduated from UW Stevens Point in 1991 with a BS degree in Interior Design. I made a door here as that experience and degree opened many doors for me! I am very blessed to meet some wonderful people along the way, own a business and carry those experiences with me forever!
This blessing is a penny (or my version of it) Yesterday while I was vacuuming, I found a penny on the floor. It reminded me of a time not too long ago that I needed every penny I had. We struggled to pay our bills and buy groceries and pay for gas. We are no longer in dire straights but I feel blessed for that time, as we now are much more careful spending, saving and planning.
I love this blessings project, I will have more to share in a day or two, but today I am focusing on the embroidery class it is already next Thursday the 10th!

I love the penny. After DH's lack of employment - I know exactly what you mean. Thrift maybe is a good thing. Growing up in the 80's and 90's -- didn't know the real meaning of thrift until recently.

Hi Dawn! Love your squares! I'm afraid I only got as far as a high school level with interior design, but I LOVED that class!! I still have all my notes and magazine clippings... and little drawings of floor plans, windows, electrical outlets, and yes, little doorways, drawn out, just like yours! It's funny to look at them now, though.. as they look like something right off the desk of Mike Brady (from The Brady Bunch), or some maybe more like looking into his own house! A LOT of oranges, browns, and olive greens!!!.. I remember now, how really I was wishing and dreaming of my own home someday... ~tina

Wish I could add my college/university, but I always seem to leave the area before I finish and I haven't gotten back this time. (Maybe later.)
Hey, I'm counting my blessings also. How fun is that? I haven't gotten to stitching yet though. I just bought my linen fabric and I'd like to wash it first.
