My crazy life---------

Sophia was determined the other day to have a ponytail in her hair (like Jurnee) and then wanted me to take a picture of her. So this is what I came up with. Her hair is starting to grow, finally seeing how she will be 3 soon!

Then the neighbor boys come over in the morning to get Jurnee for school, and the other day, Sophia thought she would get ready too. She is just so cute at this stage now.

Work is crazy, actually work not so bad, but life + work + my husband's hunting is just crazy! We are never home as a family and that is something I value so much! I will be glad for two weeks off at Christmas time. My bird craft is coming along fine, no gifts this year though.

However, Jurnee needs 22 small inexpensive gifts for school, suggestions were candy or pencils or stickers. I need to think out of the box, please help I need ideas. By next week!

Sophia is just such a character! What fun!

IDEAS FOR GIFTS: Friendship bracelets, crayons in fun colors-bought in bulk and then small batches bound with fun ribbon, kazoo, slinky, pine cones rolled in peanut butter and birdseed, sponsor a needy family (for $5 per kid) and make up little cards explaining the gift,... um wow- I wish I was there to help. Good luck

Hey Dawn,
How about the good ol' candy cane reindeer. Pipe cleaners for the horns glue on some eyes a red fuzzy nose(all from the dollar store.)

Found your blog following links... you have me thinking about a thrifty gift in bulk. What about a picture of the class? You can get them printed really reasonably these days esp. if you take it yourself....
good luck with the gift giving...

Kieler is in the far sw corner of the great state of WI. Julie and I studied Geology together at Winona State. And I lived in Point from Aug 2002-June 2007. I taught at Pacelli and ate at the Gaspers as much as they'd allow. ;-) Nice to meet you!
